In 2013 Valeria created the Bridge Project, and in 2015 with Lori Adragna founded the no-profit Cultural Association Bridge Art, whose purpose is the promotion of intercultural exchanges between creative contemporary artists from different parts of the world.
The artistic result of these exchanges is promoted through exhibitions and communication within the specialized channels.
The creative center of these exchanges between artists is in Noto at Tenuta La Favola.
Here Valeria with Lori Adragna (co-founder of Bridge Art and professional art criticism) welcomes every year a selection of artists through a call for tenders called "Call for Artist Residencies" which defines the criteria for membership, the rules and the media to promote the creative exchange itself.
Every year they welcome artists from every country in the world during January and February in the so-called cottage of Artists, one of the estate residences, open to the public by appointment.
Here experiences are exchanged, workshops are held and true works of art are created which are then exposed in Tenuta La Favola and in other venues in major cities. Art has no boundaries but often foster in places like this where creativity takes maximum inspiration.
So here we are at the theme of this last call for artists' residences: the Relianza, Italian translation of the neologism that binds the French alliance and relier terms and you have the French philosopher and sociologist Edgar Morin who coined this term to indicate how man, individual, is inextricably linked to everything around him from the universe to the smallest creature. A theme that makes us think a lot.
